The Commonwealth Centre for Digital Health

The Commonwealth Centre for Digital Health has been set up to support cross-commonwealth collaboration and coordination of digital/eHealth work to support the benefits that digital platforms bring in delivering health systems. The hub is currently providing placements for clinically trained fellows in digital health from Sri Lanka. The fellows are currently working within the Clinical Informatics Research Unit to learn about the use of digital technologies and approaches within the NHS. This will allow them to return to Sri Lanka with new skills and experiences before commencing medical consultant posts win hospitals, clinics, and the Ministry of Health.
