The change has improved cost recovery, reduced duplication and errors, strengthened financial forecasting and audit trails, and freed pharmacy staff from administrative tasks.
We shine a spotlight on Victoria Douglas, Research Governance Manager from Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust. Vicky shares how through a phased implementation of EDGE Finance, improved collaboration and staff engagement, the Trust has recovered over £42,000 in missed income. They also increased invoice capture from approximately £147,000 to over £415,000 and strengthened financial oversight across almost 200 active studies.
