EDGE in Belgium
Antwerp University Hospital (UZA) implemented EDGE in 2019 following a successful 1-year pilot with the Oncology department in December 2018 - April 2019. At this time, UZA were looking for a solution to centralise all of the clinical studies within the hospital and when EDGE was introduced, it seemed to be the right fit. EDGE provides UZA with a global overview of all the clinical studies run at UZA and also streamlines the different procedures during the application process in a more uniform and controlled way. The team at UZA use many of EDGE’s features, including reports and workflows, as well as capturing all of their research data and documents in one place. Further to this, Jolimont Hospital are the second Belgian site to be utilising EDGE.
